Karl,

Listened to your show today. Great way to share principles of LEAN. I have got a great story for you. Pal's Sudden Service. Pal's is one of the best examples of applying LEAN principles in food service. Pal's is a 2001 Malcolm Baldridge Award Winner. We train other companies about LEAN through the Pal's Business Excellence Institute www.palsbei.com. Check us out!

Great conversation. Collaboration with vendors and customers is possible if you can offer them something they need without disrupting their business. The issues you have with your customers are the issues your vendors have with you. Information is always missing and visibility is low.

Karl, I've had a chance to listen to your show from time to time. And since Karen Wilhelm is a friend and Lean colleague, I found today's program of particular interest. Your work/mission on behalf of Lean is really great. I just wanted you to know that your are spreading a gospel which is near and dear to my heart. Best Adam Zak http://LeanRecruiter.com

Hi Karl,

First time listener to your show and I found it facinating. What a great way to share Lean stories around the country. I live in Canada, near Toronto, and am passionate about Lean and the continuous elimination of waste.

Loved the discussion on 'going to the gemba'. If all the leaders in businesses followed Karen's and your advice, our industries would be 'flying', and our Customers would be much more successful.

I will certainly forward your link to all my colleagues in Canada, and will tune in as often as I can to gather leads for our Lean Conference in Baltimore November 2010.

Good Luck, and Keep Flying the Flag,

Richard Evans
